Born in Los Angeles, Gigi Hadid is the eldest daughter of Mohamed Hadid, a developer Palestinian and Yolanda Hadid, born Van den Herik, a former fashion model, personality reality and interior designer Dutch. On august 2015, she appears as the heroine of the How Deep Is Your Love music video by DJ Calvin Harris.

In November 2015, she became the companion of British singer Zayn Malik. They separated for the first time in March 2018, before getting back together a few weeks later, then separating again in January 2019.
