Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets

While Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia and his cousin Dudley receive important dinner guests, Harry Potter is forced to spend the evening in his room. Dobby, an elf, then appears. Often considered one of the best episodes, if not the best, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban marks a first turning point in the saga. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire marks another turning point in the saga: Voldemort is indeed back, and not here to laugh. The sudden death of a character signals that the franchise is definitely on the way to something darker. Directed by Mike Newell (Donnie Brasco, Four Weddings and a Funeral), Goblet of Fire also explores the teen movie aspect more head-on, following the thwarted loves of Harry, Hermione and Ron. The result is not always very harmonious, but the fourth episode remains among the strangest and most remarkable, and even today is considered the greatest series of all time.
