Fear Street Trilogy
Horror fans are eagerly awaiting the second part of the Fear Street trilogy on Netflix. The streaming platform took on the youth book series of the same name by RL Stine and produced an ingenious horror event for the summer in three parts. For children and adolescents this is not even close to being suitable, but all adult lovers of slasher and occult films will jump for joy. After the first part was already able to convince many viewers last Friday, Netflix goes one better with part two. We can already reveal so much: It will be even more violent, even more bloody and even more exciting! The first part of the Fear Street trilogy took place in 1994. But the group of teenagers from Shadyside discovers that the reason for the terrible murders in their city lies much further in the past. The second part of Fear Street looks back almost 20 years.
The Mitchells vs. The Machines
A new life is about to begin for Katie Mitchel, college is just around the corner! There she will finally find friends. People who appreciate her funny films, which she is constantly making and with which her father Rick has little use. The relationship between the two has been difficult for a long time, the budding filmmaker and the nature freak live in completely different worlds. One last time, however, Rick wants the whole family to have a shared experience. The White Tiger
The White Tiger is currently one of the Netflix hits worldwide. The adaptation of the novel by Aravind Adiga, which won the Booker Prize in 2008, starred Bollywood actors Adarsh Gourav, Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao. The film by director Ramin Bahrani tells the story of Balram, who grows up in the simplest of circumstances: When his father dies, the boy is forced to leave school in order to support his family financially. Sometimes he works in the quarry, sometimes in a tea room. Times are tough. But Balram has not forgotten that a teacher once called him a “white tiger” – a compliment for his courage to speak in front of the class. From now on, it is Balram’s only goal to break out of the “prison” of the lower class and his caste – and to achieve something great in life.
Malcolm & Marie
Malcolm & Marie is a drama with Sam Levinson, Zendaya and John David Washington. The black and white Netflix film Malcolm & Marie tells the story of the eponymous couple (John David Washington and Zendaya), whose relationship is put to the test on an eventful evening. Pieces of a Woman
Pieces of a Woman is a 2020 drama directed by Kornél Mundruczó, starring Vanessa Kirby, Shia LaBeouf and Ellen Burstyn. In the drama Pieces of a Woman published on Netflix, Vanessa Kirby has to cope with her loss after a tragically ending home birth, navigating her marriage, her mother and a legal process. The Devil All the Time
The fighting may have ended after the end of World War II, but the violence lingered on in the 1950s – even in a small town like Knockemstiff, Ohio, and the forests around it. Here the paths of several people with dark past and even darker intentions cross. In the post-war climate, Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) is growing up to be a violent young man who is willing to do anything for his family. His father Willard Russell (Bill Skarsgård) had to witness unimaginable atrocities during the Pacific War and tried to save the life of his seriously ill second wife Charlotte (Haley Bennett) at all costs. Arvin still carries that around with him in the 60s.
I’m Thinking of Ending Things

Okja is a drama by Joon-ho Bong starring Seo-Hyeon Ahn, Tilda Swinton and Paul Dano. In the South Korean action drama Okja, Seo-Hyeon Ahn tries everything to save her giant animal friend from a vicious businesswoman and her company. Ten years since Mija ( Seo-Hyeon Ahn ) and her grandfather ( Hee-Bong Byun ) were chosen by the powerful Mirando Corporation to take part in an experiment. Today Mija spends every free minute with her giant friend Okja, a mix of hippopotamus, pig and dog that was bred for one purpose: to eat. At least that’s how Mirando director Lucy ( Tilda Swinton ) and expert Dr. Wilcox ( Jake Gyllenhaal ) planned.
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

Nightmare of the Wolf

Schumacher is a biographical documentary film from 2021 by Hans-Bruno Kammertöns and Michael Wech with Michael Schumacher. The biographical documentary Schumacher from Netflix is dedicated to the life and Formula 1 career of the famous German Ferrari racing driver Michael Schumacher. The focus of the documentary is not on Schumacher’s skiing accident in 2013, from whose head injury he has still not recovered, but on the career of the ambitious child, down-to-earth mechanic, merciless Formula 1 driver and loving family man.

All the Bright Places

Chernobyl: Abyss is a 2020 drama directed by Danila Kozlovsky, starring Danila Kozlovsky, Oksana Akinshina, and Filipp Avdeev. The Russian drama Chernobyl: Abyss tells the story of a firefighter who risked his life in the reactor disaster in Chernobyl. However, there is no time for in-depth planning and as you cross flooded corridors the temperature continues to rise with every hour of the advancing core meltdown. Nevertheless, at the risk of their lives, the men push deeper and deeper into the building in order to somehow contain the unimaginable catastrophe for all of Europe.
Extraction is a drama of Sam Hargrave with Chris Hemsworth, David Harbor and Golshifteh Farahani. Extraction is an action thriller produced by Russo brothers Joe and Anthony for Netflix. Chris Hemsworth plays a hardened bounty hunter who is hired to rescue the son of a high-ranking, internationally known mob boss. In an underworld of arms dealers, a young boy becomes a farmer in a war between notorious drug lords. Trapped by kidnappers in one of the world’s most impenetrable cities, the unprecedented mercenary Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) rushes to the rescue, but Rake is a broken man with nothing to lose and a death wish that makes an already deadly mission nearly impossible.
Spider-Man: Far from Home

The Kissing Booth 3

Ma is a horror film directed by Tate Taylor and starring Octavia Spencer, Diana Silvers and Juliette Lewis.
